
One introduction was written in 1996, and the other was written in 1998. Included in the book are–not one–but TWO–yes, let’s count them people–TWO introductions by the master himself–John Waters. In fact, I’ve highlighted my favourite lines and plan to memorize them for special occasions. But now there is no reason to mourn–for here I can drool over every nasty word to my heart’s content.

In 2015, Waters was nominated for a Grammy Award for the spoken word version of his book Carsick. Waters’ artwork exhibits regularly in galleries and museums around the world. He has published multiple collections of his journalistic exploits, screenplays, ruminations and artwork. In addition to film making and acting, Waters also works as a visual artist and across different mediums such as installations, photography, and sculpture. He has often worked with actor Divine, and his regular cast of the Dreamlanders. More recently, Waters performs in his touring one-man show This Filthy World. His television work includes ‘Til Death Do Us Part (2006-2007) and John Waters Presents Movies That Will Corrupt You (2006).
